Garment length from the shoulder neck point to the bottom hem measures 125 cm / 49 inches in a size 12.

COVID-19 Notice 



Parcels are sent by Royal Mail and currently will not need to be signed for.  Postmen and postwomen will instead log the name of the person accepting the item, and can sign on your behalf.  Additionally, for all customers (including those who are self-isolating) where they need to deliver any parcel that won’t fit through your letterbox, they will place the item on your doorstep. Having knocked on the door, they will then step aside to a safe distance while you retrieve your item. This will ensure the item is delivered securely rather than being left outside, unless you give a safe place option (unfortunately they aren't able to leave parcels in or around bins).  

Please note express delivery is currently not available.

Overseas Delivery

Overseas deliveries are charged at £8 for parcels to Europe and £10 Worldwide (up to 2kg - if over this weight we will contact you with a delivery cost). All parcels are sent by Royal Mail and you will need to sign for it. Delivery times vary from country to country but please allow 10 to 14 days from date of dispatch for European delivery and 3-6 weeks for Worldwide (this may be longer during COVID-19. Local import duties may be payable on receipt.

*Please note we are currently unable to dispatch over 2kg to International customers. As such we apologise but we are not able to send footwear to locations outside of the EU.

Other Delivery Information

We will only charge you postage once per order, even if we send you more than one parcel. Delivery dates are not guaranteed, although we do our best to get parcels to you on time. Sometimes we may not be able to supply certain items and will have to cancel some or part of your order before delivery. We will email you if this happens and you will not be charged for the unshipped items. If you have been charged we will refund the full amount.

Exchanges, Returns and Faulty Goods

We do hope that you love your new Mistral online purchase. However, don’t worry if you are not 100% happy, as we have made it as easy as possible to exchange or return your order.

Simply log into your account and find the relevant order under Order History. Scroll down, click on "return an item" and print off & complete your returns form.

Alternatively you can use the form enclosed in your parcel.

We have temporarily extended our returns to 3 months for orders placed after the 1st March (until further notice)  Outside of this period, and up to 4 months we will add funds to your online e-wallet. Your statutory rights are not affected. 

Send the item/s back to us, unworn and in the original condition, complete with tags, packaging, and proof of purchase within 3 months of your order despatch date, or date you notified us that you wish to cancel for an exchange or refund.

We recommend that you obtain a proof of postage from the Post Office as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit (your statutory rights are not affected).  In the unlikely event that we do not receive your returns parcel, we will need a copy of this to deal with any refund or exchange.


Please note we are unable to do overseas exchanges.

Please note that our returns are not free.

Items must be returned unworn, in their original condition and with proof of purchase, for a full refund.

Please allow up to 14 working days from receipt for us to process your refund, this maybe longer during busy sale periods. We cannot be held responsible for any post office or courier delays in your return reaching our warehouse.

We strongly advise overseas customers to track any returns, as we cannot be responsible if these do not reach us.


If you require an exchange, please complete the returns form with details of the item you would like. Send the form and items back to us in unworn and original condition within 14 days and we will send the new item to you. We do not charge outward postage on exchanges.

Faulty items

Mistral take pride in ensuring that our garments leave our warehouse in perfect condition, but occasionally things to sometimes go wrong. We are then as disappointed as you are.

If one of your purchases is faulty please call customer services on 01249 823900 or email and we will be able to advise you on how to return your faulty goods. Faulty goods can be returned for exchange for up to 30 days from date of purchase.

lovely dress but poor service

Size 14 was ordered but found to be a little tight in the bodice. Returned the dress to change for size 16. I was told I would receive a refund for postage which didn't happen but the cost of dress was credited to my bank account. I queried this and asked where size 16 was. Had to reorder online and then found my bank account was debited twice. Queried this by phone (constantly no reply as message box full) so emailed. No response but a few days later 2 Size 16 dresses arrived! Again no reply on phone. By this time dress had been reduced to £25! Sent long email saying how frustrated I was, having had to pay two lots of postage and having had to wait over a month for a dress that fitted. Cost of dress refunded then (with no comment) but not postage. Where has Mistral's previously good customer service gone? Love this dress but whenever I wear it I remember the angst it caused. Regular Mistral shopper but would be reluctant to buy online again.

I love this dress - the design is very flattering and it’s really comfortable to wear . The print is also very striking
